I have heard many good things about PJ Gospel Hall's Playgroup - Children's Corner. After searching around, I decided to send my daughter to this playgroup, located at Jalan Gasing. Unfortunately, after only a few sessions, I regret sending my daughter there.
The discipline at this PJ Gospel Hall's Playgroup - Children's Corner is one of the worst I've seen. While most of the children are well disciplined, there are a couple of "bad apples", as usual in any other playgroups. But the problem is that while other centres normally will try to talk to the problematic children's mothers to discipline their children when problems arise, over at Children's Corner, bad behaviour and indiscipline are condoned.
Yes, bad discipline is condone. Not only the problematic children are not reprimanded, the "victimised children" are often blamed for their being bullied. When this is raised to the centres supervisors, the attitude is as though the bullied children's mothers are the guilty party.
My daughter is very stressed due to this. She has been to many other centres as well as playgroups, and always looks forward to going to these playgroups or centres. But whenever we prepared to go for PJ Gospel Hall's Playgroup - Children's Corner, she would cry and cry. Can you imagine how much pain for her and myself as a mother couldn't do anything. This playgroup seems to condone such bullies and I can't do anything.
I finally made up my mind and pulled my child from this playgroup and placed my daughter at another kindergarten. She's much happier now.
Be warned - PJ Gospel Hall's Playgroup - Children's Corner CONDONES bullies and do not reprimand them, instead if your child is the victim, he/she will further be blamed!
